But we can tell you that it's an aqueous solution of polymers that we use in our products to help adjust the flowability so that the product can be spread evenly and can help prevent stains.

We use it in our products to remove dirt and deposits by surrounding dirt particles to loosen them from the surface they're attached to so that they can be rinsed away.

C.I. 21108 is a colourant, or dye. We add dyes to products for a variety of reasons including helping you see where you applied the product, when a product is used up, or for aesthetic reasons. In shoe care products, dyes or pigments also help to restore colour or scuff cover. This colourant is available from multiple suppliers, which are responsible for its contents.

Carnauba wax is a naturally derived film former that can also be found in cosmetics and skin care products. It creates a protective coating or shine on a surface. Carnauba wax comes from the carnauba palm tree – it forms on the leaves of the palm to protect the leaves from heat and keep their moisture from evaporating. In our products, it adds shine and protection when applied to a surface.

1,2 benziosothiazol -3(2H) one is a preservative that helps maintain product quality and performance over time. Some people raise concerns about preservatives because a small number of individuals have allergies to them, just as some people have allergies to nuts or bees. But preservatives play a very important role in food, cosmetics, and household products. Without preservatives, many products would not last more than a week or two before being contaminated by bacteria, mould, or yeast. So, we feel that the best choice is to add preservatives in the smallest effective quantity to protect our products, but also to list these preservatives in our formulas so that those with allergies in the family can make informed choices.
