Dicyandiamide (DICY or DCD), also known as Cyanoguanidine, is a bleach activator that can also be found in epoxy resins, laminates for circuit boards and laundry detergents. We use it in our products because it enables the heavy duty powder detergents to be more effective at lower temperatures.
