Ingredients
Provides a liquid base for a product.
Styrene/acrylates copolymer is a polymer that can also be found in cosmetics. Adding Styrene/acrylates copolymer to our products helps increase the glossy appearance on the surfaces where it is applied.
Diethylene glycol monoethyl ether is a solubiliser that ensures even distribution of the ingredients throughout a product, to help it work better. No matter how much you shake or blend a formula that combines oil and water, over time the oils will separate from the rest of the liquid - just like salad dressing. A solubiliser like mineral spirits helps keep our product formula well mixed.
Polyethylene oxide is a cleaning agent, or "surfactant," that can also be found in a variety of makeup and other products, including toothpastes. We use it in our products to remove dirt and deposits by surrounding dirt particles to loosen them from the surface they're attached to so that they can be rinsed away.
Tributoxyethyl phosphate is a plasticizer that can also be found in floor polish and finishes. It works as film forming agent by transforming polymer particles into durable and flexible film. Without this, the polymer particles will be brittle.
Paraffin is a blend of waxes that is used to form a candle and that provides fuel for the candle as it burns. Paraffin is one of the most plentiful and commonly used waxes today. It can also be found in a wide array of products from lipsticks to eye makeup to baby products. In household products, we use paraffin as a film former to create a protective coating or shine on a surface.
Ethoxylated alcohol is a cleaning agent, or "surfactant," that can also be found in household cleaning products like all-purpose cleaners and automobile cleaning products. We use it in our products to remove dirt and deposits by surrounding dirt particles to loosen them from the surface they are attached to, so they can be rinsed away. Ethoxylated alcohol can also be used as an emulisifier. It helps bind ingredients together and keep a formula from separating. Over time, it is possible for formulas in a product to separate. We add emulsifiers to our products where needed to ensure that our products provide the same performance use after use.
1,2 benziosothiazol -3(2H) is a preservative that helps maintain product quality and performance over time. Some people raise concerns about preservatives, because a small number of individuals have allergies to them just as some people have allergies to nuts or bees. But preservatives play a very important role in food, cosmetics and household products. Without preservatives, many products would not last more than a week or two before being contaminated by bacteria, mold or yeast. So, we feel the best choice is to add preservatives in the smallest effective quantity to protect our products, but to list these preservatives in our formulas so that those with allergies in the family can make informed choices.

White mineral oil is a clear liquid carrier that can also be found in a wide variety of cosmetics, personal care and household products. A carrier does just what it sounds like - it helps carry a product to a surface by thinning or thickening the formula or simply ensuring even distribution of the other ingredients in the formula. We use white mineral oil because without a carrier, the product would not work with the same consistency across a surface. White mineral oil can also be used as a cleaning agent, or "surfactant," that removes dust, dirt and soils, or as a stabilizer that helps maintain a product formula when exposed to air, light or heat, or as a defoaming agent that helps reduce the formation of foam to avoid defects on surface coating post-use.
Potassium stearate is an emulsifier that helps bind ingredients together and keep a formula from separating. We add emulsifiers to our products where needed to ensure that our products provide the same performance use after use.
Iodopropynyl butylcarbamate is a preservative that can also be found in skin creams and shampoos. It helps maintain product quality and performance over time. Some people raise concerns about preservatives, because a small number of individuals have allergies to them just as some people have allergies to nuts or bees. But preservatives play a very important role in food, cosmetics and household products. Potassium hydroxide is a builder that can also be found in bath, cleansing, makeup and shampoo products. We use it to make a product formula clean better by affecting the molecules in the formula so they work together better. Potassium hydroxide can also be used as a pH adjuster within our products. As a pH adjuster, it helps alter the pH of a product to improve stability of the formula overtime.
