Butyl Acetate

Definition

Butyl Acetate is a solubiliser that can also be found in inks and adhesives. In our products, a solubiliser makes a substance, such as a fat or oil, soluble. This means the substance is capable of being dissolved, especially in water, by the action of a detergent or other agent. In our shoe care products, it also acts as a quick-dry to accelerate the evaporation process.
