Tetrapotassium Pyrophosphate is a chelator that can also be found in all-purpose cleaners and other home cleaning products including grease removers, hard surface cleaners and glass cleaners. It works by compounding alkali-earth metals and heavy metal ions to soften hard water to increase the cleaning performance.
