Ethoxylated Alcohol is a cleaning agent, or "surfactant", that can also be found in household cleaning products like all-purpose cleaners and car cleaning products. We use it in our products to remove dirt and deposits by surrounding dirt particles to loosen them from the surface they are attached to, so they can be rinsed away. Ethoxylated alcohol can also be used as an emulsifier. It helps bind ingredients together and keep a formula from separating. Over time, it is possible for formulas in a product to separate. We add emulsifiers to our products, where needed, to ensure that our products provide the same performance use after use.

Glycerin is a moisturiser that can also be found in personal care products such as skin lotion. It works by drawing water in and forming a barrier on a surface to help retain moisture. We use glycerin in products to prevent the product from drying out and breaking apart.

For competitive reasons, the supplier of this proprietary polymer solution has asked us to keep the details confidential, and we are legally bound to do so. But we can tell you that it's an aqueous solution of polymers that we use in our products to help adjust the flowability so that the product can be spread evenly and can help prevent stains.

PEG-150 (polyethylene glycol) is an emulsifier that can also be found in soaps, shampoos and body washes. It helps bind ingredients together and keep a formula from separating. PEG-150 is an alcohol that helps hold mixtures of oil and water together. Over time, it is possible for formulas in a product to separate. We add emulsifiers to our products, where needed, to ensure that our products provide the same performance use after use.

Hydrogen peroxide is an alternative to chlorine-based bleach that can also be found in products such as mouthwash, hair products and teeth whiteners. You might have a bottle of over-the-counter-strength hydrogen peroxide in your medicine cabinet, since many people use it as an antiseptic as well. It is sometimes used in household cleaning products to help remove or lessen stains and odours. We also sometimes use it in products to make foam, or as a stabiliser to maintain a product as it is exposed to air, light, or heat.

Etidronic acid is a chelator that can also be found in soaps, moisturisers and tooth whitening products. The word chelator (pronounced "key-lay-tor") comes from the Greek word chele, or claw. Think of a chelator as a cany claw that reaches out and grabs the minerals in soap scum or soils, to keep them from depositing on a surface. We use etidronic acid in products to remove soap scum and mineral deposits that are caused by hard water. By binding to the soap scum or deposit, it allows them to be rinsed away.
