Magnesium Aluminum Silicate

Definition

Magnesium aluminum silicate is a thickener that comes from refined and purified clay. It is often used as a filler in products such as deodorants, shaving creams, and lotions. Its unusually large molecules keep it on the skin so that is not absorbed. We use magnesium aluminum silicate in our products to help maintain a thick gel- or cream-like texture.
