Triethylene Glycol
Definition
Triethylene glycol is an odour eliminator that can also be found in shampoos and deodorants. Due to the similarity of its name, triethylene glycol may be confused with ethylene glycol, the sweet-tasting ingredient that can be used in air conditioning systems and antifreeze products. However, it is a totally different ingredient that is an odourless liquid. We add triethylene glycol to products to counteract odours.
