But we can tell you that this is a blend of waxes that can be used to form a candle and provide fuel for the candle as it burns. In household products, a proprietary wax blend can be used to create a protective coating or shine on a surface. This means that the surface has an added level of protection, and also has the shine that helps the surface look its best.

Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) is a stabilizer that can also be found in cosmetics and moisturizers. It acts as an antioxidant – we use it to help maintain the properties and performance of a product as it is exposed to air. European and U.S. regulators have approved BHT for use in food. Some concerns have been raised over its use as a food additive, however our products containing BHT are not intended for ingestion, so we feel that its use is acceptable.

Siloxane Polyalkleneoxide is a stabilizer that can also be found in textile processing. It helps reduce the surface tension of a formula to help it spread more evenly. When used in a wax product like a candle, it helps prevent warping or cracking of the wax.
