Ingredients

Proprietary Wax Blend

Wax

For competitive reasons, the supplier of this ingredient has asked us to keep the details confidential, and we're legally bound to do so. But we can tell you that this is a blend of waxes that can be used to form a candle and provide fuel for the candle as it burns. In household products, a proprietary wax blend can be used to create a protective coating or shine on a surface. This means that the surface has an added level of protection, and also has the shine that helps the surface look its best.

Irganox® 1010

Antioxidant

Irganox® 1010 is a phenolic antioxidant that can be found in packaging, coatings and waxes. It helps maintain the properties and performance of a product as it is exposed to heat and air. Irganox® 1010 is a product of BASF, which is responsible for its contents.

Proprietary UV Absorber Blend

UV Inhibitor

For competitive reasons, the supplier of this ingredient has asked us to keep the details confidential, and we're legally bound to do so. But we can tell you that this is a stabilizer that helps absorb or inhibit UV light to help protect a formula from breaking down or fading.

Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT)

Antioxidant

Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) is a stabilizer that can also be found in cosmetics and moisturizers. It acts as an antioxidant – we use it to help maintain the properties and performance of a product as it is exposed to air. European and U.S. regulators have approved BHT for use in food. Some concerns have been raised over its use as a food additive, however our products containing BHT are not intended for ingestion, so we feel that its use is acceptable.
